In December 2003, CVC Asia Pacific funds led the acquisition of Australias largest private hospital group from Mayne Limited and renamed the business Affinity Health Limited. Affinity Health operates 52 hospitals in Australia and three in Indonesia. In April 2005, CVC Asia Pacific sold Affinity Health to Ramsay Healthcare, to create the largest listed private hospital company in Australia.
