Our History

CVC Asia Pacific was founded in 1999 and has been owned jointly by CVC Capital Partners and Citigroup since then. The joint venture structure was terminated in January 2008 with CVC Asia Pacific to be 100% owned by CVC Capital Partners. Funds advised by CVC Asia Pacific have acquired 32 companies in total for over US$20.5 billion since inception.
